NTR is the Greatest Actor in India: CNN-IBN Poll Survey

CNN-IBN has recently conducted a poll in five different categories (India’s Greatest Actor of all time, India’s Greatest Actress of all time, India’s Greatest Film of all time, India’s Greatest Director of all time and India’s Greatest Music Composer of all time) celebrating 100 years of Indian Cinema. The results were out and Telugu Speaking People have a very good reason to rejoice as Telugus pride NT Rama Rao was voted as the Greatest Indian Actor of all time. India’s Greatest Actor of all time: Legendary Telugu actor and former chief minister occupied the top spot by garnering 53 percent of the total votes. While Kamal Haasan stood in second place with 44 percent votes, other stalwarts Kannada Rajkumar and Mohanlal got 1 percent votes, the rest of the actors failed to attract even 1 percent votes.
India’s Greatest Actress of all time: Sridevi sealed the first place with 39 percent of the total votes. Madhuri Dixit and Savithri have occupied the second and third spots with 16 percent and 12 percent votes. Aishwarya Rai, Saroja Devi, Madhubala and Smitha Patil received 8, 6, 4 and 3 percent votes respectively.
India’s Greatest Film of all time: Nayakan (Nayakudu in Telugu) – 42 percent; Sholay – 29 percent, Swayamvaram – 6 percent, Mughal-e-Azam – 5 percent, Pather Panchali – 5 percent.
India’s Greatest Director of all time: Mani Ratnam – 29 percent; K Balachander – 18 percent; Satyajit Ray – 14 percent; Shankar – 9 percent.
India’s Greatest Music Composer: Ilayaraja – 49 percent; AR Rahman – 29 percent; SP Balasubramanyam – 7 percent, RD Burman – 4 percent.

Balakrishna’s new movie to start

It has been quite a while since Nandamuri Natasimham Balakrishna has started a new film. But now it is heard that he is all set to commence his new movie in the month of May.
This has been titled as Ruler and it would be directed by Boyapati Srinu. Sources say this is a pure political drama and it would be prepared in such a way that it releases during elections in 2014.
Reports say the producers for this are the trio of Ram Achanta, Gopichand Achanta, Anil Sunkara. Currently the groundwork is taking place and soon all the details would be revealed.

Balakrishna and Boyapati Sreenu New Film Starts From May15th

Balakrishna and Boyapati Sreenu are teaming up for a new project and we broke that exclusive news sometime ago. We have now learnt that the film’s shoot will start officially from mid May, most probably from May 15th. The pre-production work is in full swing right now.
The movie is expected to be a powerful political drama and Balakrishna will be seen in a grand and new avatar. He is working on making himself fitter and leaner for the role. The film has been tentatively titled ‘Ruler’ and it will get ready for release in time for the general elections in 2014.
Balakrishna and Boyapati teamed up for the very successful ‘Simha’ a few years ago.

Young Tiger NTR’s upcoming film,’Baadshah’, is set to be released on April 5th and the audio will be released on March 10th. Srinu Vytla is the director of this film.
Bandla Ganesh Babu, who has been producing the movie under Parameswara Arts banner, has said that the dances of NTR has been extraordinary and marvellous in the movie. He is also confident that the movie becomes a blockbuster.
Kajal plays the female lead in this film. Siddharth plays a special character and Navadeep plays the villain. Tamil star Simbhu has rendered his voice for a song ‘diamond girl’ in this movie .Thaman has been the music director.

Young Tiger Jr NTR’s upcoming film Baadshah in the direction of Srinu Vaitla will have its audio launch on March 10 on Maha Sivaratri on a grand scale with many Tollywood bigwigs gracing the event. Baadshah audio rights were now bagged by Aditya Music Company for a fancy price says sources.
A Star hero is expected to grace the event besides the Baadshah cast and crew, and producer Ganesh Babu is keeping it as a surprise to the audiences. The audio launch event will be held at Ramanaidu Studios, Nanakramguda in Hyderabad.
Kajal Agarwal is the heroine in Baadshah while Navdeep is playing a crucial role. The post-production activities are under brisk progress and Suhasini Maniratnam, who will be seen as NTR’s mother in Baadshah has wrapped up hr dubbing works. Baadshah is slated for a release on April 5.
